Executive Coaching
Leading organizational change requires self-awareness and deep reflection. Molly’s experiences in challenging whiteness will lead to deeper understanding of the issues facing your organization as you move toward equity culture.
Using Dr. Barbara J. Love’s Liberatory Consciousness Framework, clients examine the roots of white supremacy and bias in themselves and in their organizations and develop a grounded analysis to guide their next steps with respect to social justice and equity. To build equitable environments, leaders must grapple honestly with how white supremacist culture informs ideas of professionalism, success, and achievement—and then commit to rooting it out in their organizations.
This work may be for you if you are a leader who:
Is committed to the idea of social justice but don’t know where to begin
Finds the idea of social justice work necessary but also overwhelming
Is trying to do the right things…but you can’t quite say what those things are
Coaching can:
Help you ground yourself in compassion for yourself and for others while you develop your awareness of how inequity and bias show up in your leadership and in your organization
Help you create the tools needed to begin the lifelong work of building justice and equity in your organization
Support you as you come to terms with systems of whiteness and how they impact you, your employees, and your organization as a whole
Mentor Coaching
Effective coaching is rooted in understanding clients and the struggles they face. Unless coaches are willing to use a lens of inclusivity, navigating issues related to group identity is both ineffective and potentially harmful. Let Molly’s experience realign the ways in which you engage your practice to serve all clients.
Molly’s approach, Waking Up to Whiteness, helps coaches:
Examine their curriculum for supremacy and bias
Ask themselves the questions they need to ask to be aware of identities
Begin to build competencies to move people with different identities
Coaches who focus on rooting out whiteness in their practice are better equipped to do client work that is grounded in a kick-ass compassion that is embodied and activated. Waking up to whiteness allows coaches to grapple with the foundations of white supremacy in the coaching field and work to correct the biases they see in their own practice.
Coach Training
The coaching that trainees receive creates the lens they will use to support every client. To shift coaching as a practice, we must first shift the training that serves as the foundation of knowledge. Partner with Molly to examine effects of current curricula and chart a new path.
The coaching process is deeply personal, so timelines and details are developed in response to each client’s needs and goals. To see if we are a good fit, let’s set up an initial meeting:
