I’m back-dating this post to last Saturday, when we attended a local celebration of Los Charros, the Mexican cowboys. Local members of the cowboy association mounted a demonstration including roping and riding. We were the only gringos in attendance, and we showed up at the time indicated on the ticket, two hours before things got started.
